Manufacturing company is looking for a qualified candidate to work in their office.  Duties include but not limited to filing, data entry, and customer service.  Must have previous office experience.  This is a 2nd shift, part time position working from 12:30pm-6:30pm M-TH.  Fridays will be required during their busy season from August-December.  HS Diploma required.

Manitowoc, WI Try-Before-Hire Machine Operator – $11.50/Hr

Responsibilities: 

  • Actively participate in orientation with the focus on understanding the culture and expected behaviors.
  • Support the safety culture by learning the regulatory and required practices so that you can demonstrate safe work behaviors in all job tasks.
  • Produce a product that meets the customer expectations by understanding quality, applying appropriate statistical tools, learning basic measurement techniques and learning fundamentals of pipe design.

  • Apply required practices to proactively plan all work activities to identify and mitigate all hazards by conducting Job Pre-planning, Job Safety Analysis, and utilizing Lessons Learned, Incident Management Process, Tool Box Talks, and Safety Audits.

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Quality Management System (QMS) and Quality Philosophy.
  • Apply quality tools to make sound data driven decisions by utilizing Statistical Process Control, Control Charting, Gage R & R’s and established Data Collection Methods.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of required Measurement Methods.
  • Apply the fundamentals of pipe design during production to ensure the product meets customer requirements through identification of  non-conformance as it relates to materials and design specifications.
  • Demonstrate the ability to safely operate entry level positions while meeting specific quality requirements.
  • Demonstrate proficient use of powered industrial trucks by applying safe practices, conducting equipment inspections, and utilizing material management processes.
  • Create segments, demonstrate a working knowledge of process inputs and outputs, collect and record quality measurements, identify job specific hazards, apply machine specific Lock Out/ Tag Out, build cassettes, and utilize material management process.
  • Operate carousel, demonstrate a working knowledge of process inputs and outputs, identify job specific hazards, apply machine specific Lock Out/Tag Out, setup goal posts, record specific machine inputs and meet quality requirements.
  • Operate resin system, demonstrate a working knowledge of process inputs and outputs, identify job specific hazards, apply machine specific Lock Out/ Tag Out, collect resin samples, utilize material management process, maintain guns and transfer pumps, dispose of waste, demonstrate resin application and working knowledge of resin and epicure spill procedure.

Manitowoc, WI Try-Before-Hire Supervisor  – $16.00/Hr – Must be available to work 2nd shift

Overview: Direct and coordinate production people in the operation of production lines to produce quality products in an efficient manner.  Handle minor troubleshooting of mechanical problems.  Train Line Leaders.  Schedule production workers on designated shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage execution of production plan.
  • Recruit and train people for Line Leader positions.
  • Train and coach Line Leaders to operate production lines at higher speed, consistency and quality at all times.  Know at all times what efficiency the lines are running.
  • Supervise all production workers.
  • Immediately address production line stoppages with Line Leaders in order to resume normal line operation as soon as possible.
  • Ensure that production lines at least meet production standard rates and complete first case check at acceptable levels of quality.  Review of daily paperwork to ensure products meet spec and paperwork is filled out correctly.
  • Schedule Line Leaders and Assemblers for all line assignments, overtime rework and vacation schedules.
  • Coordinate production line changeovers, start up’s, and wash-outs including line clearance from the staffing, material and procedural standpoint.
  • Manage crewing temporary to personnel.
  • Assist Line Leaders in minor trouble-shooting and request Maintenance Technician support for mechanical production line problems.
  • Ensure that all standard operating procedures are followed and appropriate personnel complete the necessary paperwork.
  • Ensure that the production work place is kept safe and orderly.
  • Suggest improvements in production speed and quality.
  • Notify the Production Management regarding any raw material or component quality problems.
  • Review performance evaluations that are generated by the Line Leaders.  Ensure that proper production standards are met and reflected on the evaluation.
  • Document and handle personnel issues to the best of ability before involving other managers.
  • Attend daily production meeting if Plant Manager is unable to attend.
  • Investigate with Production Management and complete accident or incident reports with employees.
  • Communicate with warehouse personnel on needed items or shortages to run production line.
  • Set a good example as a leader.
  • Control indirect labor.
  • Approve Kronos labor hours weekly.
  • Ensure accurate production reporting through PIN tickets and pallet sheets.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education/Training Requirements/Required Experience:  High school diploma; Associate Degree i 2 to 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience; Light mechanical ability; Experience with liquid filling lines preferred. Supervisory Management or equivalent experience.
